My Story
- NAME: Sean Cox
- Sean Cox is a singer/songwriter from Central New Jersey. His writing style has taken shape from experiencing ordinary things with extraordinary people and these experiences have given him a voice. He tells his stories for his own well-being but leaves them open for anyone to interpret in their own way. With a blend of tasteful lyrics, powerful vocals and catchy hooks, he is a created sound for all to own. In 2004 his band won a national contest for the Hard Rock Cafe. The grand prize was an all expense paid trip to Steamboat, Colorado to play with Simple Plan. The experience was unforgettable and has pushed him to keep writing and performing to reach the next level. Recently, Sean was performing in a small coffeehouse in Pennsylvania and was approached by two people he had never met before. They explained to him that they had seen him performing at another venue a while back and had purchased a CD. They listened to the CD and the words and music struck a chord. They decided to use one of his songs as their wedding song. Compliments to the chef. Sean continues to write inspiring music and his creative juices are always flowing.
